This series depicts scenes in Asmara, Eritrea, Senafe, Geleba (war zone), Barentu, Keren, area around Mendefera, Harrar Village and Ethiopia. Images portray Kunama and Saho peoples, especially families, women and children, architecture, market places, basket makers, animals, a Coptic Church, agricultural work, scenic views, Internally Displaced Persons camps and a World Food Program supply tent. About half of the photos depict artwork by Haile Wolde Michael, Berhane Adonais, Michael Adonais, Mussie Asgodam, Haile Berthe, Danny Dafla, Isak Fasil, Josief Idris, Terhas Iyassu, Elsa Yacob, Abraham Mogos, Kiros Adebe, Tzeghereda Yohannes, Teamrat Ghidei, Afewerki Asmeron, Demoz Russom and Jacob Abraha, as well as the artists themselves.

Series 3 is arranged by size and is composed of two subseries:
Small Photographs, circa 1994-2002, undated (73 items; Box 9)
Large Photographs, 1986-2003, undated (62 items; Box 10)
