Printed caption on verso reads: "From cannibalism to civilisation / Two prominent Arabslave and ivory traders in the Congo: Bwana Nzige and Tippo-tippo. / The latter, a very wealthy and intelligent man, foreseeing that slavary would be stamped out, left Central Africa before the Arab war broke out: his relatives and associates Rachid, Sefu, Munie, Moharra, Saïd, Rumaliza, subsequently murdered some Belgians and attacked the Governments stations."
