Printed text on recto reads: "53 Congo Belge - Belgisch Congo / Eléphant. - Olifant." Manuscript message and address on verso, message reads: "Europe pour savoir de quoi il s'agit. J'espère fermement fiche le camp en Bolivie! Enfin nous verrons." Translated message reads, "Europe to know what is all about, I resolutely wish decamp to Bolivia! Well we will see." Postmark on verso, postage stamp printed on verso, postmark date reads: "15 NOVE 1913".
