Slide lecture booklet - Slide # 42. Seville also has an old fortress-palace, the Alcazar, built by Christian kings on the site of an older Moorish palace, and where Franco stays when visiting Seville. The design and decor are extremely moorish and show the impact of their art on Christian conquerors. This is the entrance to one of the gardens where both Moorish and Renaissance architecture are interwoven.
