General:
With a date span of approximately 1959 to the early 1980s, the garden included a small putting green; a small water feature with an oriental them; and a greenhouse for orchids. The garden was situated on a gentle rise with gradual slope to gardens behind. The terrace adjoining the house in back is an elliptical area bordered with beds of Fashion and Peace roses edged with iberis. Across the lawn, in the border of rhododendrons and azalea, is a statue of Hebe. A Japanese garden, a copy of one in Kyoto, exists at one end of the border.
