Scope and Contents:
Legal records are found for two legal cases in which Spark testified as either an appraiser or expert. Files for Rauch v. IRS include notes, correspondence, appraisal forms and a black and white photograph of a portrait by Sir Joshua Reynolds, for which Victor Spark provided an appraisal. Kaufman v. Phoenix (Travellers) Insurance Company regards damage done to a painting by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot. Spark possible testified as an expert, though his exact connection to the case is not documented.
