Scope and Contents:
The series contains photographs and negatives of several annual award dinners that took place in the 1970s, faculty and visiting artists, and students and classes. Some event files include transcripts of the events along with seating and participant information. Faculty and artist photographs include William T. Williams, Aldo Casanova, Janet Fish, Paul Rasika, Robert Cronbach, Sylvia Stone, Alice Neel, Louise Nevelson, Bette Davis, Bernard Langlais, Jasper Johns, Barbara Rose, Max Weber, William Zorach, Jacob Lawrence, Philip Pearlstein, Claes Oldenburg, Dorothy and Roy Lichtenstein, and others.
Collection Restrictions:
Use of original papers requires an appointment and is limited to the Archives' Washington, D.C., Research Center. Use of archival audiovisual recordings with no duplicate copies requires advance notice.
