Scope and Contents:
Correspondence includes letters written to Concetta Scaravaglione and may include drafts of her replies. The bulk of the letters are professional in nature, although there are also some notes from friends and family. Early correspondence details Scaravaglione's efforts to secure a scholarship to study at the Art Students League. Notable correspondents include Berenice Abbott, Max Feinblum, Marie Louise Feldenheimer, Juliana Force, Boardman Robinson, the U. S. Treasury Department, and Forbes Watson. Also found are letters from the many galleries and institutions with which Scaravaglione held an association.
