Scope and Contents:
For over a decade, Poling worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) evaluating and developing small and medium industry programs in Korea, Nigeria, Morocco, and other countries. The files include Poling's employment records including his work history and a photograph of him receiving an award, research on governments and crafts, projects proposals and work plans, country reports, division reports, some printed materials, and papers by Poling including "Evaluation Study of Handicraft and Small Industry Programs." Additional related material can be found in the correspondence files in Series 2.
