Scope and Contents:
Professional photographs and snapshots of Hess, passport photos of Hess and his wife Audrey, and snapshots of other family members are in this series. Other photographs are of Larry Rivers, Ad Reinhardt, and others; works of art; Hess' travels to Europe; and views of a house and grounds. Two sets of slides are of architecture, outdoor scenes, and snapshots of people taken during Hess' travels. Additional slides, transparencies, and negatives are also found throughout the series.

This collection is open for research. Access to original papers requires an appointment and is limited to the Archives' Washington, D.C. Research Center.
