Summary:
Photograph album, containing amateur snapshots taken at the Exposition coloniale internationale de Paris (1931), together with some photographs of the demolition of the fairground buildings in late 1932.
General note:
Handwritten t.p. inserted at front of album, probably by the compiler.
Album signed at end, next to a candid photographic portrait of the apparent compiler, Mme A. Jacquier.
Each photograph has a brief caption in white ink handwritten by the compiler.
Local Notes:
CHMRB copy 39088016106916 has a handwritten contents sheet tipped in at front (1 sheet ([2] p.), probably provided by a later source than the compiler?). CHMRB copy is the gift of Bernard Rosenfeld. CHMRB copy has a commercially produced binding of brown book cloth, embossed in a python-skin pattern, stab-sewn with brown cord through two punched holes.
