Wemmer served as Curator-in-Charge, 1975-1977; Associate Director for Conservation, 1978-2004; and Research Associate, 2004- . Major topics include training courses, special events, the CRC Foundation, and initiatives in Myanmar (Burma). A large portion of this accession includes images of animals at CRC and other zoos as well as CRC facilities and staff. Other materials include correspondence, memoranda, reports, planning documents, training materials, proposals, lecture notes, audiotapes, and related materials. Some materials are in electronic format. Some materials pre-date Wemmer's association with the Smithsonian and may have been collected from other zoos.
