This accession consists of the Barcode of Wildlife Project website as it existed on November 15, 2017. The website is maintained by the Consortium for the Barcode of
Life (CBOL), an international initiative devoted to developing DNA barcoding as a global standard for the identification of biological species since 2004. The CBOL Secretariat
operates from the National Museum of Natural History. The website provides information about the Project which enables its partner countries to use DNA barcodes to identify
species from minute samples in the investigation and prosecution of wildlife crimes. Scientific data is not included in this accession. Materials are in electronic format.
