Descriptive Entry:
This accession consists of records documenting long-term observation of the nesting behavior of black-throated blue warblers in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, primarily in the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest. The Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center is administered by the National Zoological Park. Materials, which had been maintained by Principal Investigator Scott Sillett, include nest cards which note data about location and nesting activity as observed in the field.
