This accession consists of records documenting Twitter accounts maintained throughout the Smithsonian Institution (SI). Twitter is a third-party site used for public
micro-blogging by SI staff. In addition to general SI-wide accounts, this accession includes accounts maintained by individual museums, research centers, and administrative
and programmatic units across the Institution. Each of the accounts was crawled between November 2013 and September 2014, but may document activity back to the beginning of
the account. Materials are in electronic format.
