This accession consists of the Smithsonian Images website as of March 1, 2011, shortly before it was scheduled to be taken down. The website allows the public to browse, download, and purchase selected photographs found in the collections of the Smithsonian Photographic Services, which became part of the Smithsonian Institution Archives in 2008.
