Descriptive Entry:
This accession consists of videotapes collected and maintained by the Conservation and Research Center, Office of Education. Some videotapes document electronic field trips and other educational programs, primarily with Fairfax County Public Schools. Footage of some of those programs was also used in television programs. Many of these programs feature the NOAHS (New Opportunities in Animal Health Sciences) Center. Some videotapes in this accession were used as part of an educational program and may not have been produced by the National Zoological Park. In addition, this accession includes videotapes of television segments about the Conservation and Research Center or in which National Zoological Park veterinarians and zoologists were featured. Materials consist of VHS videotapes.
