This accession consists of publicity records related to the traveling exhibition, George Washington: A National Treasure. At the center of this exhibition was the portrait by Gilbert Stuart of George Washington, which is also known as the Lansdowne portrait. The exhibition traveled through Houston, Texas; Las Vegas, Nevada; Los Angeles, California; Seattle, Washington; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; New York, New York; and Little Rock, Arkansas. Materials include visual guidelines, brochures, teacher resource guides, stationary and envelopes, reports, clippings, color photographs, VHS tapes, and Betacam-SP tapes.
