This accession consists of records documenting the research and activities of the Office of Public Affairs, especially those activities related to development, publicity, publications, and children's activities. Also documented are the history of the National Zoological Park as researched by Sybil E. Hamlet and the proposed white-tailed deer hunt at the Conservation and Research Center that sparked an investigation by the United States Congress.
