This accession consists of records that document the planning and execution of three exhibitions namely, Spirits of the Cloth: Contemporary African-American Quilts (7/1999-10/1999); Amish Quilts from the Collection of Faith and Stephen Brown; and The Art of John Cederquist: Reality of Illusion. The records were created and maintained by Charles Robertson, Deputy Director (1986-2001). Materials include correspondence and memoranda, publicity plans, checklists, lender lists, press releases, condition reports, notes, and related material.
