Two small portrait busts of young African American men or boys. One wears a jacket and tie. The other tintype, in somewhat worse condition, is bent and abraded and has a hole in the top, and shows a young man wearing a broad-brimmed hat, vest, and jacket, no tie.

Provenance:
Purchased by Richard Ahlborn, February 1990 from a dealer in Lyons, Colorado, who believed the tintypes were taken in Colorado. Gift of Mr. Ahlborn to the Archives Center.
