This collection consists of the following advertising ephemera: North Central Airlines 1967 Proof Book, North Central Airlines Calendar, 1955 (2 copies); North Central Airlines Calendar, 1957; North Central Airlines Calendar, 1962; North Central Airlines Calendar, 1963 (3 copies); North Central Airlines Calendar, 1965; North Central Airlines First-Flighter Certificate; North Central Folder with advertisement; and Local Airline Service brochure.

Biographical / Historical:
Wisconsin Central Airlines began service between six Wisconsin cities in 1946. Eventually, the service increased and, in 1952, the company moved its headquarters to Minneapolis, Minnesota and changed its name to North Central Airlines. In 1979, North Central Airlines merged with Southern Airways to form Republic Airlines. In 1986, Republic Airlines became part of Northwest Airlines, which was purchased by Delta Air Lines in 2008.
