Scope and Contents note:
Photograph depicting Native American men in suits and hats, women in scarves and shawls, and girls and boys standing outside of a building. One small boy is wearing a military uniform and carrying an American flag. The photograph was probably made in Bismarck, North Dakota, on September 10, 1919, when Woodrow Wilson stopped there on his national speaking tour for the League of Nations.
Handwritten on original image: "Some of Mrs. Melson's relations. Taken in Bismarck. Waiting to see W. Wilson."
