Scope and Contents:
Copied from Chritian Kauder, [Catechism, Prayer and Psalm Book], Vienna, 1866, with an interlinear transcription of the Micmac words. Microfilm copy of the original, which is in two copybooks written by Frank Navin, an Indian of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, in 1943 or shortly thereafter.
The orthography is different from that of either Silas T. Rand (Protestant missionary, numerous printed works) or Charles Guay (Catholic Missionary, "Recueil de prieres," Quebec, 1890).
