The papers of art historian Joan Seeman measure 1.2 linear feet and date from 1973-1981. Included are sound recordings of interviews Seeman conducted with artists, transcripts of interviews, correspondence with artist Theodore Roszak, and notes from a visit with Hugo Robus. There is also a list of works in the Wallace Wilson Collection, which was curated by Seeman.
Scope and Contents:
The papers of art historian Joan Seeman measure 1.2 linear feet and date from 1973-1981. Included are sound recordings of interviews Seeman conducted with artists, transcripts of interviews, correspondence with artist Theodore Roszak, and notes from a visit with Hugo Robus. There is also a list of works in the Wallace Wilson Collection, which was curated by Seeman.

Due to the small size of this collection the materials are arranged as one series.
Biographical / Historical:
Joan French Seeman (-Robinson) (1927-) is an art historian in Houston, Texas. Seeman taught at the University of Cincinnati. The subject of her M.A. Thesis (1979, Stanford University) was sculptor Theodore Roszak.
Provenance:
The collection was donated in 1983 by Joan Seeman-Robinson.
