An interview of Muriel Castanis conducted in 1971, by Doloris Holmes, for the Archives of American Art "Art World in Turmoil" oral history project. Castanis speaks of the problems confronting women artists, the attempts by the group WAR (Women Artists in Revolution) to address these problems, consciousness-raising among women artists, art as a vehicle for social change, her development as an artist, and her work with fabric.
