Made while the artist was employed as an IACB arts and crafts assistant at Sitka, Alaska; donated to the Indian Arts and Crafts Board by the Indian Arts and Crafts Board Demonstration Workshop at Sitka in 1966 or 1967; part of the IACB Headquarters collection (Department of the Interior, Washington, DC) until 2000 when it was transferred to NMAI.
