An equestrian portrait of General John Fulton Reynolds, commander of the First Army Corps, as he was about to rush the left wing of the Army of the Potomac. He is depicted looking out to his proper left and pulling back on his horse's reins with his proper left hand. The horse has stopped short in mid-stride with just two hoofs on the ground. The sculpture rests on a rectangular granite base adorned with bronze inscription plaques

Figure of a Civil War soldier, dressed in his uniform consisting of a long belted coat, a small cape, long pants, and a round helmet with a small brim. He marches with his proper left leg taking a step forward. He carries a back pack. His rifle rests against his proper right shoulder with his proper right hand resting on the bottom end of it. The figure is positioned on a rectangular base which is installed on the sidewalk at the corner of the building

A full-length figure of Mary Jemison in Native-American dress, carrying her infant son Thomas on her back. She has long braids and wears a fringed buckskin dress. She carries a bundle in her proper right hand and holds the strap of her son's backpack with her proper left hand. The sculpture is mounted on a square base that is inscribed with the story of Mary Jemison. The sculpture is surrounded by a fence which was added in 1924
