Historic Places, People and Events begins at Box 2, Folder 11 with materials on historical sites/buildings in the Northeastern and Midwestern United States and the Virgin Islands. This material is brief and largely promotional. Most dates are unknown. Folder 12 in box two contains a small number of prose essays or excerpts with historic figures or events as their subjects. Of note are a 1962 Time-Life exhibit guide on the Birth of the Republic, and an excerpt of eye-witness Civil War reports.
