Scope and Contents:
The collection contains guidebooks issued to Cadillac salesmen containing images of vehicles, and data on the specifications, options and features of the 1963, 1966, 1968, and 1970-1978 vehicles. Many of the books contain upholstery samples from which buyers could choose. Also: 1920s print advertisements for luxury vehicles, including Cadillac, Packard, Willys-Knight, Nash, Chrysler, and Hupmobile; advertising booklets for consumers extolling the features of the new models of Lincoln and Lincoln Mercury vehicles, 1956-1986; a scrapbook of print advertisements for various automobiles, 1920s-1960s; and one owner's manual, 1940, for Lincoln's Zephyr and Continental models.

A collection of archival materials on the history of the piano, including: print advertisements for piano makers; sales brochures and catalogs for various piano makers; part and supply catalogs; price lists; trade cards; postcards; trade publications; owners' manuals; tuning guides and magazines; instruction books; photographs; an account book for a musical instrument dealer in Buffalo, New York; Anderson's research on organ and piano makers, especially 18th century New York City piano makers. Also included are a few advertisements for harpischord and organ makers. Most of the materials relate to American makers, but some European and Asian makers are represented in the collection. Makers most promiently represented in the collection are Steinway and Sons, Sohmer, Mason and Hamlin, Knabe, Weber, and Broadwood.

Consists of correspondence between Norwich Eaton executives and heavy industrial equipment producers. It includes pamphlets and brochures, drawings, and trade literature that detail various aspects of the pharmaceutical industry. Many of these materials contain proposals by companies hoping to sell Norwich Easton machinery for use in the production of pharmaceutical products. Two folders contain miscellaneous trade literature about new machinery for factories. Among the topics are: air filters, thermostats, chainless conveyors, package filling machines.
