A seventeenth century land deed between Charles Markham and John Berry of New Jersey.
Scope and Contents:
A land deed between Charles Markham, the seller, and John Berry, the purchaser. Markham sold a certain parcel of land (approximately 200 acres of "English meadows") in the vicinity of the Saddle River, New Jersey. The sale was recorded on March 20, 1696/7 in Perth, Amboy, New Jersey and was witnessed by Thomas Lawrence.
Biographical / Historical:
This is a land deed between Charles Markham, the seller, and John Berry, the purchaser. Markham sold a certain parcel of land (approximately 200 acres of "English meadows") in the vicinity of Saddle River, New Jersey. It was recorded on March 20, 1696/7 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. It was witnessed by Thomas Lawrence.
