Scope and Contents:
The director of a drug abuse prevention education center states the mission and goal of the center. He explains they are working to find a viable alternative to methadone maintenance programs for drug addiction treatment. The medical director of the Acupuncture Clinic of America talks about acupuncture as a medical treatment, details about acupuncture procedure, Acupuncture Clinic of America's work, and the role of acupuncture as related to drug addiction treatment. The medical director answers questions, and then conducts an acupuncture demonstration.
