Summary:
This sculpture recognizing the triumph of Slidell over the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina consists of a large steel pipe, thirteen feet four inches high and twenty-four inches in diameter, topped with a small fleur de lis. A hurricane symbol is incised on the side of the pipe at the seven foot mark to indicate the water level in Heritage Park in the wake of the storm
