Portrait of a young woman standing beside a railing on a terrace, her body turned to the left, her right arm resting along the railing, and her gaze directed toward the viewer. She wears a pink off-the-shoulder dress trimmed with white lace around the neckline and sleeves. In her left hand she holds a straw hat adorned with blue ribbons. She wears a small gold necklace and drop earrings. Her brown hair is parted in the middle and swept back from her face. Behind her is a river landscape with a bit of sunlight reflected on the surface of the water in the distance.
