Portrait of Mrs. William Shakespeare Moore seated with her body turned to the right, her head facing almost forward, her gaze directed toward the viewer, and her left arm resting across the back of her chair. She wears a dark dress with long sleeves and a square neckline trimmed with white lace. Around her neck is a beaded necklace, and her dark hair is swept back with small ringlets framing her face.
