Waterscape depicting the three-masted American ship Friendship sailing across a harbor, the American flag rippling in the wind, and the crew ascending the rigging as they raise the sails. Nearby there is another sailing vessel flying the American flag, and in the distance a lighthouse and a crowded waterfront are visible.
