Summary:
Miniature portrait of Robert Chamblett Hooper (1709-1790), known as King Hooper, his body turned to the right, his head turned to face the viewer. His nickname King was due to the wealth he amassed in the shipping and merchant trade. The miniature is in its original gilded copper and vermeil brooch case.
