Doctor Edward S. Hope talks about schools and education. He speaks of African American contributions to higher education, paricularly those of Booker T. Washington, W.E.B. duBois, and his father, John Hope. He talks about liberal arts colleges, particularly Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Atlanta University. Hope also reminsciences about growing up at Morehouse College, where his father was the president, his education, and his work at a coffee shop and power plant in his younger years.
