Summary:
Man talks about the drug abuse prevention and education program, treatment and rehabilitation work, the extent of youth using drugs, and the need to educate youth about drugs in the community. Mr. West, an Associate Director of Office of Drug Abuse Policy located at the White House, addresses questions and collects information from community members to take back to the Office of Drug Abuse Policy to create policy recommendations. The Office of Drug Abus Policy examines the federal government's response to drug abuse problem, recommend policy changes, and make sure the recommendations work. Mr. West talks about the office's work with prevention programs.
