Browning and Davis were involved in an employment discrimination case in Indiana during the 1990s, an experience which spurred them to become activists for LGBT rights. They jointly own the Bilerico Project, a blog on LGBT issues.
The collection documents Browning's and Davis's activism on behalf of LGBT rights, and includes correspondence, photographs, school papers, and a scrapbook from Browning's youth, posters, petitions, handouts, bumper stickers, periodicals, conference and event programs, ID cards, VHS recordings, and printed materials.
