Notes:
A U.S. Army chaplain, Rev. Card earned his Master of Divinity degree from Drew University, and was ordained in 1946. He joined the U.S Army Reserves as a chaplain in 1950. He served tours of duty in Korea and inVietnam. He remained in the Army for 20 years and died just three months after retiring at Fort Hood, Texas.
