Consists of materials relating to bridge builders and suppliers of bridge building materials, as well as individual bridges and bridge building in general. Includes printed advertisements, correspondence, invoices and receipts, advertising cards, advertising blotters, catalogs, price lists, publications, pamphlets, periodicals, stocks and bonds, postcards and a considerable number of images of bridges. The bulk of the material dates from the latter part of the 19th century. Contains some foreign materials.
