Consists primarily of labels, recipes, advertising cards, invoices and receipts, announcements, circulars, notices, coasters, lithographs, printed advertisements, patents, trademarks books, shipping documents and catalogs from brewers of beer. Some of these companies, such as Pabst, also made malt health tonics and food products. The bulk of the material dates from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The collection is open for research use. Researchers must handle unprotected photographs with gloves and use assistance when dealing with oversize materials
