Summary:
Mitchell is shown shaking hands with a woman wearing a hat and a fur stole. Other male and female figures, engaged in conversation, stand informally behind them. According to Patricia M. Mitchell (27 Sept. 2010), the woman speaking to Mitchell is Effie Fawcett, while "Miss Mary" Boyd is second from the right in the background. Print has wide margin; actual image size 8" x 6-3/8" (20.4 x 16.0 cm.).
The woman in the foreground with Mitchell was Identified by Dr. Theodore Hudson as "Miss Mary" Boyd and captioned as such for the Highland Beach exhibition. The print originally was found in an envelope labelled "Arthur Jones."
