The records of Safko International, Inc., documenting an assistive computer technology company created by Lon S. Safko to produce and sell the environmental control systems he invented for the physically disabled, specifically quadriplegics. Through the use of a computer and alternative input devices, the physically disabled were able to overcome physical barriers which inhibited them from attaining an autonomous lifestyle. Includes invention notes, design documents, copyright records, artwork for software, market research files, publicity materials, audiovisual materials, business and financial records.
