Los Angeles radio announcer (radio station KOWL), actor (in movies such as "Carmen Jones" and "The Manchurian Candidate," and the Broadway musical "Jamaica." He later became Ray Charles's manager.
Summary:
Papers relating almost entirely to Adams's career in radio, both local and network, including a few letters, photographs (approx. 59), clippings, and two scrapbooks (one black, one burgundy) containing some photographs but mostly clippings about Adams and his work. Some photographs by Howard Morehead.
