Advertisement for Hartford's Lavine soap. Color illustration shows Chinese men, all with long queues, happily dancing around a box of Lavine soap. This contrasts with other advertising imagery of Chinese laundries of the period, in which the Chinese are shown as unhappy because American products are putting them out of business.
