Gardens of Elizabeth Newman Hume (Carmel, New York)
This garden was located in Carmel, New York, and was designed by Alice Recknagel Ireys beginning about 1949. The design took advantage of the site's hillside location and views of the surrounding countryside. Features included a stone patio, curved stairs, and a swimming pool.
