Identified by Ms. Alwilter T. Wilson in an e-mail to David Haberstich, Feb. 2, 2004. "The mother is Mary Altona Goodrich and the lady standing 2nd from the left is Mary Alice Goodrich (Branch). Mary Alice died on 26 December 2001... Mary Alice [Goodrich] and [Ms. Wilson] were classmates at Florida A & M University and joined Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority during that time..."
Caption on negative: "49370 Mrs. M.A. Goodrich 6 8x10 reg." Group portrait of six women. "Dec. 3" and "Dec. 13" without year written on original envelope. Retouching on faces. No edge imprint present, but probably "Defender Safety Base."
