21 girls sitting in and on car, with man wearing dress shirt and tie in background. Scanned print bears Scurlock studio signature in silver ink, lower right. Also 4 additional prints (stored in box 49), incl. a semi-glossy print with pencil caption on verso: "Picnic group, Highland Beach, Md / 1931". Cf. record for original negative, no. 618.179056.
The vehicle in the photograph has been identified as a 1929 Packard Model 633 8-cylinder Rumble Seat Roadster (Paul Delaney, May 2008).
